All activities and presentations will take place at the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon.

All of those professionals and researchers linked to the study of public opinion within different areas, including political science, communication, psychology, sociology, or economy, are invited. Furthermore, the invitation is also open to researchers in the region and other areas of the world.

The conference hopes to receive contributions about the new forms of political participation that are opening up in Latin American countries (through social media, direct participation, citizens' observatories etc.) and their effect on citizens' democratic engagement, as well as the quality of democracy in Latin American countries.
